The Lady Sea Beggars have had a tough preseason, but it taught and prepared the team to work together and to continue competing hard. As the season goes on, the ladies will grow together and hope for huge success.

In a match between Justice College Lions and Providence Christian Sea Beggars, Providence Christian emerged victorious with a score of 3-0. The box score showed that the Sea Beggars had a high attack percentage, with a total of 36 kills and a kill percentage of .378. Jacey Loewen had a standout performance and led the Lady Beggars with 12 kills and a hitting percentage of .750, while Jenelle Loewen contributed with 9 kills and Sanaii Cooper contributed with 8 kills. Some other key players were Isabella Taue'etia with 8 assists and Chenelle Jones with 12 digs.

On the defensive end, the Sea Beggars had a fierce presence, and, with key blocks by Jenelle Loewen and Elaine Turituri, the ladies had a total of 6 blocks. Providence had a strong performance due to their efficient offense and solid defense, limiting Justice's scoring opportunities throughout the match. Overall, the Lady Sea Beggars showcased that the team can be resilient and determined when they unite and play together. Each player showed tremendous teamwork and skill on the court, setting the tone to have more success for the season ahead.

The Lady Sea Beggars return to action on Tuesday, September 10th, at 6 p.m., when they go against West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, CA.
