Women's Golf Team Preview

The 2021-2022 women's golf program returns all three golfers from last spring. Kaitlyn Robinson (JR/Siloam Springs, AR), Kiara Paul (JR/Westminster, CA ), and Denise Litonjua (SO/Arcadia, CA) all show tremendous promise for the season ahead. The Lady Sea Beggars will have a significant impact in the spring conference championship season.

The Lady Sea Beggars will not score as a team this fall, but this special group of student-athletes exhibit great chemistry and create an excellent team culture. This unique trio fully enjoys their experience at Providence Christian College. They fully embrace student life, corporate worship, campus life, rich academics, and the rounds they experience on the golf course.

Coach Todd Bowers had this to say of the Lady Sea Beggars: "I've never witnessed such cohesion amongst a women's golf team. These three make it very easy to do my job. With our inexperience and youth, I'm not sure we will come out of the gate on fire, but I believe we will slowly build momentum throughout the year and be playing our best golf come April. With the eligibility remaining for these three as the foundation, and a solid 2022 recruiting class, the future will be very bright for Providence Christian Women's Golf. In this building phase, we are elevating the tournament schedule and will make great memories throughout the year. This fall will be highlighted by trips to Utah and Camel, CA., two NCAA tournaments, among other playing opportunities at quality venues. I think when we look back in a year from now, these three ladies will be responsible for a great year, a great recruiting class, and the growth of the women's golf program at Providence Christian."

The Women Sea Beggars open the fall season at Point Loma Nazarene University's event hosted at Rancho Bernardo Golf Course on September 13th and 14th. Please be sure to follow along as these ladies pave the way for a bright future.
